10th Anniversary Tea at Wigton

The Wigton Foodbank team led by Judith Wood (Centre Manager) put on a tea as part of the NLFB's 10 year anniversary events. Those attending included local store managers, volunteers from foodbanks across Allerdale and Copeland and local supporters. The 10th anniversary recognises the 10 years since the NLFB started in Cockermouth in 2009 and the dedicated work of our volunteers over this time. It is also an opportunity to recognise the support given to clients; always with a smile. Over the past 12 months the number of clients who have been helped at a time of crisis has almost doubled.
