During the closure period The North Lakes Foodbank will be on emergency measures 07502311452. If you find yourself in crisis during this period please call and we will do our best to respond, however this may not be immediately. Emails will not be responded to during the closure time.

550 - the number of emergency food supplies given to people in Allerdale and Copeland each month. With your help we manage to pack this many food parcels, we need 4 tonnes of food a month donated to us, which enables us to help people in short term crisis in our community. 

Please see our shopping list on the drop down menu to see the items we need to pack our nutrionally balanced food parcels.

 The North Lakes Foodbank Centres Normal Opening times

You will need an orange voucher from a Foodbank voucher holder to receive food, bring it to us during these times and exchange it. If you are in need of food and do not have a care professional working alongside yourself who holds our vouchers, contact us for signposting to one of our voucher holders within Allerdale and Copeland.

 We have many collection points around Allerdale and Copeland, including most churches. If you would like a collection point, please download a poster here to  show alongside your collecion area.

Allerdale and Copleand councils have donated to us some green wheelie bins with white boards attached to show our weekly appeal. These bins are located in the following places:

Workington: Tesco, Morrisons, Asda Dunmail Park, Allerdale Council Offices, Impact Housing, The Minto Centre, Hunday Manor, Derwent and Solway Housing, Lakes College, Westfields Housing Association, Robertsons New Leisure Centre, Beckstone Primary School -  please note no donations at Workington Foodbank Centre
Whitehaven: Morrisons, Tesco, New Life Church, Jacobs (West Lakes), Hertel, Whitehaven Golf Club, Amec (West Lakes), BEC (West Lakes) Copeland Borough Council
Cockermouth: Sainsburys, Co-op, Third Age, Cockermouth Foodbank Centre, collection tin Fletcher Christian pub, Paddle school
